Bio

Sara Gribbon joined CSS as Associate Counsel in 2021 and has served as General Counsel since July 2022.  As General Counsel, Sara provides comprehensive in-house legal services to CSS, including overseeing contracts, compliance, personnel matters, and risk management.  

Prior to joining CSS, Sara spent a decade practicing law in the private sector, first at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP and most recently at Kobre & Kim LLP.  Sara has experience advising private companies, multinational corporations, and non-profit organizations in complex disputes and investigations, compliance, and employment matters.  Before law school, Sara spent several years in the non-profit sector, working in development at the EastWest Institute and the American Civil Liberties Union. Sara is a graduate of New York University School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Review of Law and Social Change and interned at the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama; the New York Office of the Appellate Defender; and the Federal Defender for the Northern District of Georgia.   She received her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University.
