Bio

Leslie Bailey, specializing in public benefit programs for over 25 years, oversees all aspects of the Benefits Plus Learning Center training program; from facilitating courses, to designing new courses, to the implementation of the continuing education program for licensed social workers and licensed mental health counselors. She focuses on cash benefit programs such as SSI, SSDI and Cash Assistance and food programs, as well as programs that provide support to working families like child care.

She has also authored several chapters for the Learning Center’s premier publication Benefits Plus Online. Leslie began her career providing benefit counseling to low-income families and individuals. She holds a social work degree from Lehman College.
