Bio

As an RSVP Volunteer Manager, Aron Rubin helps to recruit and interview new volunteers, researches new collaborations, and works to expand existing partnerships.  He also assists with the administration of the program’s databases and develops and improves tools for outreach and data collection.

In his previous role, Aron helped to publicize the NYC Rent Freeze Program (SCRIE/DRIE) as the Unit Supervisor for the CSS Rent Freeze Outreach Project.  Prior to that, from 2011 to 2015, Aron was a Program and Volunteer Manager for CSS’s Experience Corps literacy program.  In this position, he supervised volunteers who tutored children at Public School 63 in the South Bronx.  Aron began unofficially at CSS back in 2010 as an AmeriCorps/New York City Civic Corps member tasked to RSVP. 

Aron earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and a minor in global studies from Binghamton University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He was part of Sigma Alpha Lambda, a service-based honor society, and he is currently a member of the New York City Young Nonprofit Professionals Network.
