EDCAP Program Report: 2019-2023
Summary:
In New York, 2.4 million individuals carry an average student loan debt exceeding $41,000. Many student loan borrowers don’t know where to find help navigating the complex student debt system and can fall victim to scams. The Education Debt Consumer Assistance Program (EDCAP) helps borrowers make informed decisions about managing and eliminating their student debt.
